By counting and timing a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor activity, the calculation of approximate visitor numbers
commenced in February 2023, a real time clock was added in September making the display of daily data possible.
The number of events and PIR active time are used to calculate an estimated number of visitors.

Monitored activity has shown our interpretation of the PIR data to be slightly less than the actual number of
people that visited.
From January 2024 the daily graphs show every PIR event, the actual time it took place and for how long the PIR was active.
Without the clock no daily graphs were available before September 2023.
The daily graphs from September to December 2023 display the number and length of events for each hour.
Not counting Wednesday mornings, we have had about 986 visitors up to Monday 28th April a mean average of 8 per day.
There were two days in February and two in March without vistors. The PIR was moved preventing any data being recorded on 17th and morning of 18th March
April has been our busiest days so far this year with the 13th of April recording over 30 visitors.
Not counting Wednesday mornings, we have had about 2701 visitors during the year a mean average of 7.5 per day.
There were four days in January, three days in May, two in October, one in November and five in December without any recorded activity.
Data collection for 325 days during 2023 estimated a mean average of 8 per day. July is thought to have been the busiest month with a 400 estimate, February April May June August and September all recorded about 300.
